Position Summary
CAI is seeking a Manager, Chapter Operations & Engagement to serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of state chapters for our membership association. This role provides responsive operational support, training, resources, and guidance to chapter staff and volunteer leaders to help chapters operate effectively, remain compliant, and deliver a strong member experience.
Key Responsibilities
CAI is seeking a Manager, Chapter Operations & Engagement to serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of state chapters for our membership association. This role provides responsive operational support, training, resources, and guidance to chapter staff and volunteer leaders to help chapters operate effectively, remain compliant, and deliver a strong member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for assigned chapters, providing day-to-day communication, issue resolution, coaching, and operational support.
- Support chapters during staffing transitions, capacity challenges, or other operational needs.
- Deliver and coordinate chapter training programs, virtual learning sessions, peer groups, and leadership workshops.
- Develop, modernize, and maintain chapter templates, tools, resources, and communication channels.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support chapter-related initiatives, communications, technology solutions, and service improvements.
- Track chapter trends, recurring issues, training needs, and engagement opportunities; provide updates and recommendations to the Director.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in association management, chapter relations, training, operations, or a related field.
- Strong communication, facilitation, customer service, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond quickly, and follow through in a high-volume environment.
- Comfort using technology platforms for training, communication, collaboration, and reporting.
- Experience working directly with chapters, volunteers, or member-based organizations.
- Experience delivering training programs or managing recurring engagement programs.
